OSSIDIANA
This choreographic work starts from the observation of those particular phenomena that we find in nature, where the forms are, in a manner of speaking, incomplete, or give rise to other forms before they have reached what we expected. Ossidiana moves on this path; it is a work structured into something hybrid, unexpected and morphologically unusual: like the obsidian, where the crystal will not ever happen. It is from this mineral point of view, this simultaneity, where everyone is busy to trigger and defuse all things, that each time the works fades into pure choreographic material, in live electronics in concert, in disguises with sands of the Eyjafjallajökull.

FABRIZIO FAVALE LE SUPPLICI
Full Scholarship at the American Dance Festival, Duke University, USA in 1990, Fabrizio Favale as a dancer in 1996 received the critics’ award for best Italian dancer of the year; as a choreographer in 2011 the Medal of the President of the Republic to the Italian choreographic talent. From 1991 to 2000 he danced for the Virgilio Sieni company. In 1999 he founded the company Le Supplici. His works are performed in very important international contexts. He created a series of independent projects related to research and in 2015 he invented two new formats concerning research, training and performance as part of international dance: “Circo Massimo” for the Teatro Duse in Bologna and “Beta Capricorni” for AtelierSì Bologna. He currently works with international musicians like Mountains, Teho Teardo, Daniela Cattivelli.
